Founded in 2022 by Queenie Rosita Law, Double Q is a contemporary art gallery located in the city centre of Hong Kong. The gallery’s name comes from Queenie’s nickname, "QQ," to express its commitment to creating an open and welcoming space for visitors of all ages. Our teams in Hong Kong and Budapest seek to identify exceptional artists who lack exposure in Asia and showcase their works in Hong Kong. We are currently looking for an dynamic and organized individual to join our team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Gallery Manager with daily operations and administrative tasks (greeting visitors, answering phones) while overseeing the safety of artworks at the gallery and office.
- Assist the team with gallery openings, art fairs, and special events.
- Assist with installation, removal, and packaging of artworks during exhibition setup and closing.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree in an art-related discipline is a bonus.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Adobe is a plus.
- Able to commit at least 1 working day per week.
- Immediate availability preferred.
