Ben Brown Fine Arts is seeking a reliable individual with a strong interest in building a career in the fine arts industry. Interns will gain in-depth knowledge of art exhibitions and gallery operations while being exposed to a diverse selection of artworks. High-performing candidates may have the opportunity to extend their internship or be promoted to gallery assistant.
Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing upcoming gallery exhibitions
Maintain the gallery and storage in good condition
Organize and manage inventory
Conduct artist research and provide administrative support
Help plan and organize events such as art fairs, artist talks, and dinners
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a related field (art history, design, art handling, museum studies) is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Photoshop/AI is a plus
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
Strong attention to detail and solid research skills
Responsible, organized, self-motivated, and good problem-solving abilities
Excellent oral and written command of English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
Working Hours:
Every Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 AM to 7 PM.
Internship Period:
October – December
