Yuki Onodera, World is Not Small – 1826, No 20, 2012, Archival pigment print, 85.8 x 110 cm
The exhibition features works by Paris-based Japanese artists Aki Lumi and Yuki Onodera. Aki Lumi uses photography, drawings and sketches to explore questions such as what is artificial and what we see. Yuki Onodera constantly creates works that raise fundamental questions about what photography is and what images are. Both artists pursue distinct creative paths, each with their unique philosophies, ideas, and expression methods. This exhibition offers a mysterious sense of synesthesia by displaying two of the artists' representative series.
