We are currently seeking an enthusiastic intern to support our Hong Kong team, with a primary focus on exhibition coordination.

Position Overview
This full-time, on-site role will provide essential support to the exhibition coordination process – from planning and installation to deinstallation and post-exhibition tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Exhibition Coordination Support

·       Assist the gallery team in planning and organising exhibition schedules, floor plans, and artwork lists.

·       Coordinate with artists, shippers, framers, and installers to ensure smooth exhibition delivery.

·       Help prepare exhibition materials including labels, didactic panels, and press kits.

·       Support the team during installation and deinstallation, ensuring artworks are placed correctly and safely.

·       Assist with condition reporting and documentation of artworks before, during, and after exhibitions.

·       Maintain exhibition archives, including checklists, photography, and loan records.

General Gallery Operations

·       Support daily gallery operations: front desk coverage, visitor reception, and inquiries.

·       Assist in client communications and sales follow-up as needed.

·       Help maintain gallery cleanliness, organisation, and supply inventory.

·       Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and database updates using Artlogic.

Art Handling Support (as needed)

·       Safely pack, unpack, and transport artworks under supervision.

·       Assist with hanging, lighting adjustments, and display setup during exhibitions.

Candidate Profile

·       Currently studying or holding a degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Museum Studies, Gallery Studies, or a related field.

·       Previous experience in a gallery, museum, or exhibition coordination role is a plus.

·       Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.

·       Ability to multitask and work calmly under deadline pressure.

·       A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

·       Physically able to lift and move artworks (with training and support).

·       Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken).

·       Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Artlogic is a plus.
