Zhang Litao was born in 1973 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. In 1996 he graduated from print Department, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, China. Zhang Litao Works and lives in China. His use of the everyday subjects such as Stairs, Iron Gates or a Red door, seek to record monumental moments in time and allegorical markers of historic importance.
