Founded in 2022 by Queenie Rosita Law, Double Q is a contemporary art gallery located in the city centre of Hong Kong. We are currently looking for an organised and motivated individual to support our team by performing various duties related to art handling. This paid internship provides candidates with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with preparing art exhibitions while continuing their studies.

Responsibilities:
• Assist art handlers during the installation and de-installation of exhibitions
• Perform artwork condition checks
• Assist with packing and unpacking artworks
• Assist with moving artworks in the gallery or warehouse in a safe manner
• Assist with loading and unloading artworks from delivery trucks
• Assist the team during exhibition openings and special events when necessary
• Perform ad-hoc duties as requested

Requirements:
• University students or recent graduates with a background in Fine Arts, Visual Arts or similar field
• Willing to do physical work, including heavy object lifting (ex. crates)
• Previous experience with handling and moving artworks is a plus, either as an artist or past internship
• Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
