Art Central seeks an enthusiastic and experienced events project manager to join the 2025 team to lead a wide range of programmes. A cornerstone event of the annual Hong Kong Art Week, Art Central showcases leading and up-and-coming galleries from Asia and beyond with an ambitious programme that includes performances, large-scale installations, talks, tours and educational activities.
Reporting to the Fair Director, the Programme Manager can expect a high level of interaction with the curatorial, marketing and operations teams and with external vendors and partners. Ideal candidates will possess a good knowledge of the arts industry in Hong Kong and demonstrate exemplary project management skills. The Programme Manager is also responsible for budget creation, tracking and reporting. A final assessment of the programme and associated costs will be required.
A set programme brief will drive the schedule and development of programmes. Excellent professional English communication is required for this role; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is highly desirable.
