Soluna Fine Art is proud to present 𝑳𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 by Korean contemporary artist Seungtaik Jang , his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong. The exhibition centers on the artist’s signature Layered Painting series, reflecting his ongoing exploration of color, process, and the very nature of painting. By focusing on color, the most basic yet fundamental element of painting, Jang investigates what painting can be beyond representation. The light that emerges between layers exists as both material and perception, guiding viewers to uncover the essence of painting through the quiet intensity of layered color.
𝑳𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 will be on view at Soluna Fine Art from 5 March to 18 April 2026, with an opening reception on 5 March (Thurs) at 6 - 8 pm. The artist will also be present.
Seungtaik Jang’s works will also be featured in Art Central 2026 from 25 to 29 March 2026.
