When we increasingly lose the tactile experience of brush and paper, what defines writing today? Ren Tianijn’s sculptural calligraphy "writes" with stainless steel while Hung Keung’s digital work utilizes computer programming, and Wei Ligang endeavors to invent a universal language through paintings. The three artists offer insights into the new frontiers of writing.
