I.F. Gallery, Hong Kong is pleased to present Three Paths, One Journey – 37 Years, a group exhibition featuring Chung Tai Fu, Chen Wenguang, and Zhang Huoyan, on view from September 20 to October 18, 2026.The exhibition showcases recent works by the three artists, whose close friendship began in 1985 during their studies at the Tokyo University of the Arts. Reuniting thirty-seven years after their first joint exhibition in Hong Kong in 1989, this showcase brings them together once again. Focusing on small-scale works across various media—including mineral pigments, printmaking, Nihonga, and acrylics—the exhibition highlights their distinct artistic styles and material explorations developed over decades, reflecting their evolving artistic paths and shared spiritual resonance.

To mark this special occasion, we are pleased to present an opening artist talk with participating artists Chung Tai Fu and Zhang Huoyan, moderated by I.F. Gallery Director Sun Tianyu.The conversation will reflect on their shared years in Tokyo, their evolving artistic practices, and the distinct paths that have led them to reunite in Hong Kong. The talk will be followed by an audience Q&A, opening tea reception, and an opportunity to meet the artists.
