#SouthsideSaturday is back with triple the excitement! 


On September 5th, 12th and 19th, our member galleries will be hosting a range of exclusive art talks, workshops, and guided tours for the art community. 


September 5th starts off with new exhibitions across the Wong Chuk Hang and Tin Wan. Alisan Atelier begins with an art talk "Female Voices in China Now”, followed by the opening reception for their exhibition, "Revisiting the Jade Terrace: Exploring the Role of Female Ink Artists in Contemporary China”. Concurrently, several galleries are also hosting opening receptions for their new exhibitions, including Rossi & Rossi with "A Strange Song Amongst the Snow”, Whitestone Gallery with "Traces," and WKM Gallery with "Soh Souen: My tender passion, tender patience”. DE SARTHE also opens “After Intelligence”, where you can meet and greet the artist Lau Wai. Meanwhile, Sin Sin Fine Art continues its ongoing group exhibition, "FORM," by hosting a ticketed artist talk and workshop with artist Gedvile Bunikyte.


September 12th brings visitors closer to the creative process with two artist events: wamono art presents their exhibition "Echoes of Time” featuring Rebeka Tam and Shiori Kaneko, and Ben Brown Fine Arts hosts an artist talk and private view with artist Qi Lei for his show “Echoes of Day and Night" (RSVP required). Additionally, September 12th features the opening reception for Blindspot Gallery's "Soft Borders", complete with tours starting from 4 PM onwards.


September 19th features two notable opening receptions: Antenna Space debuts "Cell19: Observation Continues”, and THE HARTZ PROJECT presents "Boyoung Jeong: The 0 Degree of Looking”. Additionally, Axel Vervoordt Gallery will host an artist talk for the exhibition "Kim Lim: Source” (RSVP required). 


Meanwhile, Don’t miss out your last chance to experience several ongoing exhibitions this #SouthsideSaturday! On September 5th, Boogie Woogie Photography & Galerie Kraemer hosts its finale for “Jacques Henri Lartigue: Keep Only the Sunshine”, and Empty Gallery concludes “Spillover” by Anna Zhao. Y Gallery is also extending “PURELAND OF SOUL: Jiahua Wu’s Chinese Ink-and-Brush Expressionism”, available on view for all three days.
