Double Q Gallery

Founded in 2022 by Queenie Rosita Law, Double Q is a contemporary art gallery located in the city centre of Hong Kong. The gallery’s name comes from Queenie’s nickname, "QQ," to express its commitment to creating an open and welcoming space for visitors of all ages. We are currently looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual to support our team by performing various graphic design duties. This paid internship provides candidates with an opportunity to gain hands-on graphic design training and experience while continuing their studies. Candidates will be expected to work closely with our team at our Sheung Wan office at least one full day per week, based on their availability.

Responsibilities:

·         Support exhibitions by performing design tasks including but not limited to labels, event or programming signages, etc.

·         Design promotional and marketing materials

·         Update templates for marketing materials

·         Design newsletters

·         Perform other ad-hoc design related tasks for exhibitions as requested

·         Assist the team during exhibition openings and special events when necessary

Requirements:

• University students or recent graduates with a background in graphic design or related fields

• At least one full day per week in office

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

• Strong attention to detail

• Be deadline-driven

• Good command of written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
