Contemporary by Angela Li is looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the fine arts industry and gain hands-on experience in gallery operations and art exhibitions. You'll enhance your understanding of contemporary art while developing practical skills that are essential for a successful career in the arts.

Internship Period: 3 months (Immediate availability is preferable.)
Hours: 2-3 days per week (Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 6:30 PM) 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may vary based on our needs. They include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation and installation of art exhibitions.

• Supporting daily gallery operations, including visitor engagement and customer service.

• Helping maintain gallery organization, including cataloguing artworks and updating inventory.

• Assisting with marketing efforts, including social media and promotional materials.

• Attending and supporting gallery events and openings.

Requirements:

•  University students or fresh graduates with strong interest in contemporary art and the fine arts industry.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus.

• Capable of completing tasks efficiently and on schedule.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese, with Mandarin as a plus.

• Previous experience in a gallery or arts-related environment is preferred but not required.
