INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Established in Hong Kong (2014) and later in Tokyo, JPS Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery that presents the works of emerging and established artists from around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Hong Kong team!

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist and manage daily operations of the gallery 
* Responsible for administrative tasks which include but are not limited to handling walk-in clients/visitors, taking care of VIPs, email and phone enquiries, update database and gallery contacts, shipment orders, and inventory management
* Preparing upcoming exhibitions, writing, editing and translating relevant materials
* Assist in planning, organising and installing the gallery’s exhibitions, art fairs, and art events
* Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
* University student or graduate, preferably in art-related subjects
* Excellent command of written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
* Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Mac platforms is preferred
* Highly organised with a strong eye for details and able to follow instructions in a timely manner
* Hard-working, responsible, motivated, and passionate about art
* Previous experience in the art field and immediate availability preferred

LOCATION
* JPS Gallery Hong Kong, Central; JPS Office, Mong Kok
* Work during weekends may be required
