iola Lenzi, Southeast Asian art specialist, author and curator of Beauty Will Save the World: Eight Artists from Southeast Asia at 10 Chancery Lane Gallery will present the exhibition and discuss it in the context of her recent book Power, Politics and the Street: Contemporary Art in Southeast Asia after 1970 (Lund Humphries, 2025). The exhibition includes works by Bùi Công Khánh, Chan Dany, Dinh Q. Lê, FX Harsono, Htein Lin, Josephine Turalba, Moe Satt, and Vũ Dân Tân. Grappling with dire conditions, they mobilize viewers with humor, while radiating poetic light and humanity.
