gdm is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team member who is keen to learn and to commit to working intimately with a small dynamic team. Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented and capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires the applicant to have excellent project management skills, to work independently on exhibition planning and execution, supporting artist studios in production sourcing and logistics, in addition to the general administrative duties of the gallery. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00-19:00.
Requirements -
Education: Degree in art history / liberal arts / marketing, preferred.
Computer Skills: MS Office and Adobe Suites, SketchUp
Experience: 5 years of experience in a gallery, preferred.
Special Events: Must be available for art fairs, gallery installations, openings, and other events as needed, which may take place over weekends or fall outside normal gallery hours.
