- Oversee the Gallery’s daily operations, including general office administration.

We are a Hong Kong-based private art collection with a focus on Post War and Contemporary Art. To accommodate our growing business needs, we are looking to hire an entry-middle level position to primarily own the daily administration and logistics processes, maintain social media profiles of the collection, and to provide assistance on art market researches prior to acquisitions.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Trend Analysis & Research

  • Conduct in-depth researches, run trend analysis, and prepare reports on assigned subjects, including but not limited to artists, artworks, and institutions
  • Assist in communicating and liaising with outside experts (such as galleries, curators, dealers, etc.) to acquire information and details of the concerned subject
  • Archive research materials and manage art library

 

Collection Management and Administration

  • Own, manage and coordinate all aspects in relations to art storage, shipping, handling, as well as restoration and framing needs
  • Responsible for planning and implementing artwork rotations per business needs
  • Provide all-round administrative support related to the art collection, including but not limited to updating and maintaining internal databases and contacts
  • Coordinate, plan, and organize art-related events and projects

PR & Social Media

  • Generate ideas, plan, write, and edit content to maintain social media presence for the collection

Requirement:

  • 3 years or above relevant or comparable working experience at galleries, museums, auction houses, or any art organization is preferred
  • Experience working with UHNW individuals will be an advantage

  • Committed and mature team player with a can-do attitude, fiduciary mindset, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

We are currently seeking a proactive and organised candidate to join our team as Gallery Assistant in the full range of tasks, including, but not limited to daily operation, archiving, art handling and exhibition management.

Responsibility:
– Assisting daily operation and general administration tasks
− Liaise and coordinate with registrar and gallery manager
– Managing archival records through photographing and updating inventory
− Ensure efficient day to day in-house property movement, packing, installation & de-installation, production, property receipt and release to internal and external clients
– Providing logistics support in condition check, packing/unpacking and moving
− Assist with condition check, take and record condition images, work with registrar on accurate labelling and complete the stock-in process
− Other duties as assigned

Requirement:
− At least 1-2 year working experience in contemporary art, fine art handling or warehouse operation, with gallery experience is desirable
− Very high level of attention to detail and organisational skills, able to work well within a team and a proven ability to communicate well with internal and external clients

Desirable:
