Sales Representative/ Art Advisor – Soluna Fine Art

Soluna Fine Art is an art gallery specialized in Asian contemporary fine arts and objects with deep roots in South Korea.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative/ Art Advisor to join our Hong Kong team. You will be working closely with the director and the team in Hong Kong. You will be given a chance to be involved in different aspects of the art gallery industry and develop yourself as art profession.

Responsibilities (not limited to): 

• Develop sales strategy and conduct sales
• Introduce new clients to the gallery as well as explore new clients and market (local and international)
• Gather artwork market information and generate sales research, presentation, proposal, and report
• Cultivate relationships with institution, corporate partners, and potential clients
• Response to online and offline enquiry, introduce artwork to audience and interact with clients
• Manage inventory and sales flow
• Assist with planning and organizing exhibitions, events, social clubs

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a commercial gallery, auction house, or art consultancy
• A proven track record of sales is required
• Knowledge of local and international art market, Korean art and art history is a must
• A self-starter who will take immediate responsibility for their role and tasks
• Target oriented go-getter who will not hesitate to take initiative
• A cheerful team player who can work seamlessly with all departments with strong sense of responsibility and meticulous work attitude
• Excellent Cantonese, Mandarin and English language written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in Korean is an advantage
• A degree in History of Art or Art Business is preferable
