Fundraiser 2021 at Art Basel Hong Kong | Hong Kong Art Gallery Association

Continuing the success of its inaugural edition in 2020, the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) is proud to present Fundraiser 2021 at Art Basel Hong Kong from 19 May to 23 May at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Presenting 30 works donated by 19 HKAGA member galleries, the HKAGA Fundraiser will showcase works from a variety of young and established artists in a communal effort to support Hong Kong galleries as well as their artists. Over half of the 25 participating artists are from Hong Kong or are Hong Kong-based.

70% of the sales proceeds will be given back to participating galleries and artists as a way to support the local art community, while 30% will be donated to HKAGA to fund its programme and daily operations as a non-profit organisation. Founded in 2012, HKAGA is a member-based non-profit organisation of 49 established member galleries in Hong Kong. The mission of HKAGA is to advance the Hong Kong art gallery community by providing one voice to its members, reaching out to the local and international art community, and helping deepen market knowledge and best practices among members.

Over 15 donated works will be displayed at Art Basel Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 19 May to 23 May. All works are exclusively on view on HKAGA’s website here.
