The Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) is pleased to announce the return of its acclaimed professional development series, Tuesdays with HKAGA, for its 2025 season. This year's programme is designed to equip Hong Kong's art professionals with the latest knowledge and tools for art professionals, offering invaluable insights into risk management, sustainability, government funding, and local artistic practice.

Are you taking full advantage of available government support? Following our highly successful session in 2023, we are thrilled to welcome back the team from HKPC's SME ReachOut for an essential update on government funding by popular demand! Experts from the SME ReachOut team will be here to decode the latest updates to key funding schemes, including the BUD Fund for galleries and other fundings for supporting artists. Stay ahead of application process changes and new eligibility criteria.

Lockton - A Guide to Today's Fine Art Insurance


Thank you to everyone who attended our recent workshop on fine art insurance, where Rebecca Spence from Lockton shared valuable insights on navigating policy clauses, understanding valuations, and managing risks for transit, storage, and exhibitions. Key topics included the scope of fine art insurance, policy limits, common exclusions, and the importance of regular valuation updates to prevent underinsurance. She also highlighted risk management best practices, such as security systems, environmental controls, and staff training. The Q&A session featured real cases and valuable experiences shared by participants.
