Loans and Exhibitions

As the Senior Registrar of Loans and Exhibitions at M+, Julie Traitsis shared her experience in loans, registration, collection management and exhibition installations. 

Julie Traitsis has over 15 years experience working in exhibition, registration and collection management roles. She is currently the Senior Registrar, Loans and Exhibitions at M+, a new museum of visual culture currently under development in Hong Kong. She oversees a team of registrars in the logistics and management of outgoing loans of M+ collections and the incoming loan of works presented in M+’s local and international exhibition programmes. She has collaborated with exhibition venues in Hong Kong, mainland China, South East Asia, Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East. She also provides training in loans and art couriering to a range of stakeholders across the museum.

Tariffs on Import and Export of Artworks

As the Managing Director of Integrated Fine Arts Solutions (HK) Ltd (IFAS), Torsten Hendricks clarified and shared information regarding artwork tariffs with a special focus on Hong Kong.

Born in Germany in 1980, Torsten Hendricks is based in Asia since 2004 and is specialised in fine art logistics since 2008. He was based at first in Mainland China and moved to Hong Kong in the position of Managing Partner of Integrated Fine Arts Solutions. Now he is living with his wife and his two sons in Hong Kong since 2012. 
 
Integrated Fine Arts Solutions provides storage, art handling and transport solutions for the art world and focuses on galleries, museums, private collectors and auction houses. Torsten has been actively involved in various large projects in Asia and Hong Kong and has seen the active transformation and professionalisation of the art market. He started by handling the first Art Hong Kong 2008 and was in charge of all Art Basel Hong Kong since 2013.
