 How to present a current exhibition?

Isabelle Frank shared her understanding and experience on narrating an exhibition, and opened up a vivid, open discussion with the participants regarding their practices in different contexts such as galleries, museums and NGOs by giving a case study of Vittoria Chierici's exhibition narrative.

Felix Wong and Ray Leung shared practical skills and knowledge in professional art photography, and shared their insights and tips from their extensive experience in working with art galleries.

  

 

Workshop by Arcarta: Anti-money Laundering Regulations and Due Diligence in Art Market
 19 September 2023, on Zoom


The team of Arcarta, - a Due Diligence platform for the art market, introduced the basic concept and background of the the recent development of anti-money laundering regulations in UK and EU, demonstrated how their platform help galleries and art dealers assess and minimise these risks by knowing their clients, and answered many questions in the Q&A session. Workshop by Lotus Fine Art: Fine Art Shipping and Its Intricacies
 10 October 2023, at HART Haus

 

Stephan Ungewiss and Natalie Ng from the Lotus Fine Arts gave us an informative lecture on insightful sharing at HART Haus, teaching us the essentials about fine art shipping, from acquiring quotations, types of shipping and crating, customs clearance, insurance, etc. Many good questions were aroused from the Q&A session, and we had a fruitful communal exchange. 




Workshop by Lotus Fine Arts: Art Packaging & Handling 101
 17 October 2023, at HART Haus

 

Mike Chan, Fine Art Warehouse and Operations Manager from Lotus Fine Arts and his team member taught the basic but critical principles of art handling and answered all questions from galleries through hands-on demonstration at the workshop: from showing different types of packaging materials, tools, frames and crates, to onsite demonstration on packing artworks in varied sizes and mediums.
