Summary
A wonderful opportunity for those who would like a taste of the art world, this position is part-time and non-paid, but stipend will be provided.
- Working hours: 10 am-7 pm, 2-3 days per week, work on the weekend may be required on event days
- Minimum commitment: 3 months (January to March 2020)
Responsibilities
- Update HKAGA website and social media sites
- Design e-banners and promotional materials
- Support HKAGA events for both members and the general public
- Support membership renewal and marketing efforts
- Assist Manager with daily operations and administrative work
- Maintain the association’s database and internal records
- Ad hoc tasks, including but not limited to translation and design work
- Support event logistics, such as art talks, gallery tours and workshops
Requirements
- University student or recent graduate
- Proven interest in Visual Art
- Self-motivated, organised, and attentive to details
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Familiar with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Skills and experience in graphic design preferred
