Established in Hong Kong (2014), Tokyo (2018), Paris (2022) and soon in Barcelona, JPS Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery to present the works of emerging and established artists from around the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and manage daily operations of gallery and store spaces
- Responsible for administrative tasks which include but not limited to handle walk-in clients / visitors, taking care of VIPs, email and phone enquires, update database and gallery contacts, shipment orders, and inventory management
- Preparing gallery marketing materials, proof-reading and translation
- Attending and assisting in gallery exhibitions, art fairs, and art events
- ad-hoc tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- University student or degree holder in art-related fields
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Highly organized with a strong eye for details
- Hard-working, responsible, motivated, and passionate about art
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Mac platform
- Japanese or French speaking is a plus
- Immediate availability preferred
LOCATION
- JPS Gallery Hong Kong Landmark Central;
- JPS Office, Mong Kok
- 8 hours per day, 2-3 days per week
- Work during weekends and public holidays are required
