Ben Brown Fine Arts is looking for a reliable individual who has a strong interest in developing a career in the fine art industry. Candidates will gain an in-depth knowledge of art exhibition, gallery operations, and be exposed to a wide selection of artworks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing upcoming gallery exhibitions
- Responsible for keeping and organizing inventory
- Conduct artist research, and other administrative assistance
- Assist in preparation of exhibition materials and marketing collateral
- Provide post-sale support to gallery staff and daily operations maintenance to the gallery
Requirements:
- Candidate with work experience in related field (art history, design, art handling, museum studies) is preferred
- Knowledge in Photoshop/AI is an advantage
- Ability to complete given tasks in a timely manner
- Attention to detail with demonstration of solid research skills
- Responsible, organized, self-motivated and good problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of oral and written English and Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin)
- Minimum availability from July to end of September
Working Hours: every Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 7pm.
Candidates who demonstrate exceptional performance during the internship period will be offered full-time positions on the gallery staff.
