Job Description
- Conduct art market researches and act as an art consultant of a private art collection of contemporary art
- Provide all-round administrative support related to the art collection and Briarcliff
- Coordinate with galleries, shippers, art handlers, insurers and contractors on art acquisitions, storage, shipping, installation and art handling
- Update and maintain the artwork databases and contacts
- Assist in planning and organizing art events
- Ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in arts or related field with knowledge of contemporary art market and conduct research
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience, preferably at galleries, museums or any art organizations
- Experience in communication with galleries, museums, contractors, art handlers and suppliers is preferred
- Highly organized, detail-minded with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese
- Immediate available is highly preferred
