Lucie Chang Fine Arts is a contemporary art gallery that was founded in 2014. We are now hiring full-time Gallery Assistant to join the team!
Responsibilities:
– Managing and running day-to-day business of the art space
– Planning and implementation of exhibitions and fairs
– Coordinating with external parties such as press, artists, organizations, service providers on exhibitions, fairs, and events
– Preparing promotional materials and managing all social media platforms
– Stock checking, liaising with insurance and transportation
– Managing artwork database and filing system
– Dealing with correspondence and emails, and other daily administrative duties
– Other duties as required
Requirements:
– University degree, preferably in the Design, Marketing, Art or related field
– Minimum of 2-3 years full-time working experience, preferably in media, marketing, design or related field
-Good command of written and spoken Cantonese & English & Mandarin.
-Project-oriented skills: must be able to multitask on both short and long-term projects
– Proficient in MS Office, good knowledge of using design software is preferred ( e.g Photoshop, AI, InDesign and etc )
– Proficiency in computer and social media applications eg: Chinese social media platforms including Xiaohongshu, wechat
– Work during weekends and public holidays may be required
– Relevant experience is a plus
Working Hours:
9:30 am-6:30 pm, 5 days a week
