Internship – JPS Gallery

Established in Hong Kong (2014), Tokyo (2018), Paris (2022) and Barcelona (2023), JPS Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery that presents the works of emerging and established artists from around the world. We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Assist and manage daily operations of the gallery space.
– Responsible for administrative tasks, which include but are not limited to handling walk-in clients/visitors, taking care of VIPs, email and phone enquiries, updating database and gallery contacts, shipment orders, and inventory management.
– Preparing gallery marketing materials, proof-reading and translating.
– Attending and assisting in gallery exhibitions, art fairs, and art events
ad-hoc tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

– University student or degree holder in art-related fields
– Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
– Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Mac platforms is preferred
– Technically proficient in photo shooting would be an advantage
– Highly organised with a strong eye for details
– Hard-working, responsible, motivated, and passionate about art
– Immediate availability preferred

LOCATION
JPS Gallery Hong Kong Landmark Central;
JPS Office, Mong Kok
8 hours per day, 2-3 days per week
Work during weekends and public holidays is required
