Artist Liaison – Over the Influence

Over the Influence was founded in Hong Kong in 2015 and expanded to Los Angeles in 2018, followed by Bangkok in 2021 and Paris in 2022.

The gallery represents an international roster of over thirty emerging and established artists who work in a diverse range of mediums and disciplines. Besides operating parallel programmes across locations, the gallery continues to expand its programme through art fairs, special projects and attaining museum exhibitions.

We are currently seeking a proactive, organised, and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Artist Liaison will work independently under the direction of the Gallery Owner in all aspect of planning and organising gallery programme across spaces in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Bangkok and Paris.

As part of the global team, the candidate shall be responsible for:

• Plan, oversee and project manage all aspects of gallery programme across spaces
• Mange and co-ordinated represented artists’ related matters, including but not limited to, internal and external exhibitions and projects
• Responsible for the content and archive of artists’ bio, bibliography, press information and other related documentation and information
• Facilitate artists’ productions, set up and monitor production budget and timeline
• Develop new artist relationships
• Foster relationships with curators, museums and institutions
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required

You are required:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in the field of artist liaison at art gallery, museum, institution or artist studio
• A Bachelor’s degree in Art Administration, Art History or a related field
• Organised and attentive to detail
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills
• Proficiency in Art Logic Database and Microsoft Office
• Responsible, organised, self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; another language is a plus

Located in Central area.
The working hours is from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm with an hour lunch break.
Immediate availability is preferable.
Fresh graduates and part-time are welcome.
