Part-time Gallery Assistant- Lucie Chang Fine Arts

Lucie Chang Fine Arts is a contemporary art gallery that was founded in 2011. We are now hiring a part-time Gallery Assistant to join the team!

 Responsibilities:
– Managing and running the day-to-day business of the art space

– More focusing on running social media
– Planning and implementation of exhibitions and fairs
– Coordinating with external parties such as press, artists, organizations, service providers on exhibitions, fairs, and events
– Preparing promotional materials and managing all social media platforms
– Stock checking, liaising with insurance and transportation
– Managing artwork database and filing system
– Dealing with correspondence and emails, and other daily administrative duties
– Other duties as required

Requirements:

– Proficiency in computer and social media applications, mainly focusing on Chinese social media platforms including Xiaohongshu, wechat, weibo

– University degree, preferably in the Design, Marketing, Art or related field
– Minimum of 2-3 years full-time working experience, preferably in media, marketing, design or related field
-Good command of written and spoken Cantonese & English & Mandarin.

-Project-oriented skills: must be able to multitask on both short and long-term projects
– Proficient in MS Office, good knowledge of using design software is preferred ( e.g Photoshop, AI, InDesign and etc )

– Relevant experience is a plus
