Gallery Intern – Contemporary by Angela Li

Contemporary by Angela Li  is looking for passionate and well-organised interns to join the team. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute significantly in the early stages of exhibition planning and to assist the team in the sales of artworks.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in daily operations of the gallery (answer phone calls, greet visitors)
– Maintain gallery website and various social media platforms
– Assist in preparation of exhibition/art fair materials, including research, invitation/catalogue designs and translation of written material
– Provide support at gallery openings, events or art fairs
– Provide post-sales assistance

Requirements:
– University student or University graduate
– Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
– Proficiency in Photoshop or Illustrator preferred
– 2-3 working days per week and may be required to work on Saturdays occasionally
– Immediate availability preferred

Working Hours:
– 10:30 am to 6:30 pm
– Helping out at openings once a month in the evening
