Gallery Internship – JPS Art Gallery

Set up in 2014, JPS Art Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery to present the works of emerging and established artists from around the world.  We are seeking an enthusiastic internship to join the team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and manage daily operations of gallery and store spaces
• Responsible for administrative tasks which include but not limited to handle walk-in clients / visitors, taking care of VIPs, email and phone enquires, update database and gallery contacts, shipment orders, and inventory management
• Preparing gallery marketing materials, proof-reading and translation
• Attending and assisting in gallery’s exhibitions, art fairs, and art events
• ad-hoc tasks

REQUIREMENTS

• University student or degree holder in art related fields
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Highly organized with a strong eye for details
• Hard-working, responsible, motivated, and passionate about art
• Familiar with using Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and iWork
• Immediate availability preferred

LOCATION

• JPS Art Gallery Hong Kong Landmark Central;
• JPS Office, Mong Kok
• 2 months contract, 8 hours per day, at least 3 days per week
• Work during weekends and public holidays are required
