de Sarthe Gallery is seeking docents to assist at gallery events. Docents will have the opportunity to learn about contemporary art and the professional language used in this field. Candidates must be well organized, dynamic, passionate, and exercise a professional decorum with discreet and sound judgment.
Responsibilities:
– Answer inquiries regarding exhibited artworks
– Interact with guests at gallery events
Requirements:
– Degree in Art History, Visual Arts, Culture, and any other similar fields is preferable
– Highly proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
– Excellent communication skills
– Interest in art, self motivated, well-organised and able to work independently
– Outgoing and enthusiastic persona
– MUST be available during November, exact dates will be confirmed with accepted candidates
