Gallery Assistant – Art Supermarket

Art Supermarket (founded in 2011) is an unconventional art gallery with the ambition to bring excellent and original art into our daily lives. The gallery showcases a wide range of art works by emerging Asian and Western contemporary artists, and is known to be a forward-looking contributor to the Hong Kong arts scene.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in all day-to-day tasks, including event planning, database up-keeping, archiving, marketing
– Advise incoming clients visiting gallery
– Manage and follow up with shipping and logistics

Requirements:
– University Graduate; 1-2 years working experience
– Languages: fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Responsible, self-motivated with positive attitude
– Museum/Gallery/Auction House experience preferred
– Must: Adobe Software skills as Photoshop, Illustrator/InDesign
– Holding a valid permit to work in Hong Kong (because the candidate is HK citizen or permanent HK resident or is in HK on a dependent visa or IANG visa)
