de Sarthe seeks an experienced Public Relations, Communications and Media Manager fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. The position is responsible for actively garnering and passively responding to media interest across all three languages for the gallery. The role is also responsible for managing the gallery’s social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo, and Twitter. The position is based in Hong Kong and is full-time, reporting to the Director as well as the Gallery Owner.

Responsibilities include:
Planning and implementing targeted press campaigns that attract important publications for gallery exhibitions and special projects
Organize press previews/ walk-throughs of exhibitions and other select events (ie, artist talks)
Communicating and maintaining close relationships with journalists, critics, and editors
Managing all gallery social media accounts (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo, and Twitter)
Generating press material including artists bios, press releases, etc
Communicating with artists
Organizing mass emails for exhibitions as well as seasonal news letters
KOL outreach and collaborative development
Sponsorship outreach
Maintain gallery and artist press archives
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in the field of arts communications
Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English both spoken and written
Excellent writing abilities
Superb communication skills
