Established since 2010, Edouard Malingue Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The gallery is currently seeking a Head of Communications and Media to join their team.
Job Description:
– Marketing and publicity management
– Strategize and manage all communications channels, including website, newsletter, social media, 3rd-party platforms
– Press outreach and liaison
– Draft press releases in Chinese or English
– Design; all visual media including advertisements, invites, mockups, brochures, greetings
– Digital publication production
– Art fair applications
– Community outreach including organising school tours, donation to Universities
– Manage image archive
– Basic administration
Requirements:
– Knowledge and experience with local and international media
– Adobe CS Products
– SketchUp
– Language skills: strong written Chinese and English mandatory
– Ability to work under pressure and can multi-task under deadlines
– Highly organized, self-motivated in improving and problem-solving
– 3-6 years art gallery/institution experience preferable
