The Role

As an Account Executive, your role would predominantly consist of servicing and placing the Fine Art & Business insurance policies of existing small to mid-sized clients and looking after the related administration involved. In addition, you would be expected to assist develop new business in Hong Kong and more broadly in Asia alongside the Team Head.  You will be working with WTW offices all over Asia as well as liaising with the Head Office in London. Clients include galleries, museums, auction houses, private & corporate collections and logistics companies.

It is not expected for candidates to have any insurance knowledge although this would be an advantage. Right from the beginning, you will receive training in respect of Fine Art & Jewellery Insurance with the intent that you start servicing and liaising with clients as soon as the relevant mandatory insurance examinations are passed. It is expected that during this time you develop your own personal knowledge of this specialist line of insurance as well as develop a network by attending exhibition openings, Art Fairs and other art related events. You will also be given a broad introduction to the other general lines of insurance. Once training is complete, you will then be expected to assist the team in achieving the objectives of the business unit in line with the annual budget and overall corporate objectives as well as effectively manage and grow a portfolio of clients ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are identified and met.

Notwithstanding the above, it is anticipated that you will also be scheduled to receive training for the administrative tasks and the familiarization of the company systems, procedures, working practices and methods after joining to support the administrative demands of the role.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin a must (including writing)
